The Parent Portal: see your child's progress without a password to share

The Parent Portal is a separate, password-free page where a parent enters a short code their child generates in the app to see that child's revision progress and Aura activity. There's no parent account to create and no password of your child's to hold — your child stays in control of the code, and can invalidate it at any time by generating a new one.

How linking works

Your child generates the code

In the app, they tap INVENTORY → Get Parent Code to reveal a 6-character code — this is entirely their action, not something a parent can trigger remotely.
They share it with you

The code is designed to be read aloud or typed in by hand — nothing sensitive is embedded in it beyond a link to their existing account.
You enter it once at the Parent Portal

No sign-in, no email, no parent profile — just the code, which stays valid until your child regenerates it.
Your child can cut access at any time

Generating a fresh code instantly invalidates the old one, so a child who changes their mind is never stuck with a code they can't take back.

YOU CAN DO

Approve a pending reward redemption
Add a reward to the shared family list and set its Aura cost
Remove a reward from that list
Nothing else — redemption always requires your approval first

Reward redemption is parent-gated by design — a child can spend Aura Points on an item from the shared reward list, but it only leaves "pending" once a parent approves it here. Self-redeeming without approval isn't possible. See how the reward list works →

How do I get my child's link code?

Your child opens Aura Tycoon, taps INVENTORY, then Get Parent Code, and shares the 6-character code with you. You enter it once on the Parent Portal page to view their dashboard.

Does my child have to share a password with me, or do I need my own account?

No. There is no parent account and no password involved. The link code is the only thing shared, your child generates it themselves, and it stays valid until they choose to regenerate it, which immediately invalidates the old one.

What can I actually do in the Parent Portal?

You can view progress by subject and chapter including weak topics, see the Aura and Lifetime totals, approve or leave pending any reward your child has redeemed with Aura Points, and add or remove items on the shared family reward list, up to 6 at a time.
