Compete without losing your rewards

The Leaderboard: ranked by XP, not by what's left in your wallet

Aura Tycoon tracks two numbers, not one. Aura Points are what you spend on rewards from the Aura Store — and that balance goes down when you redeem something. XP is every Aura Point you've ever earned, kept permanently, and it's XP — not your current Aura balance — that decides your place on the Ranking Leaderboard. Spend freely; your rank never drops for it.

Two numbers, two jobs

AURA POINTS (SPENDABLE)
  • Earned from correct answers and Frenzy Mode rounds
  • Spent on rewards from the Aura Store
  • Balance goes down when a reward is redeemed
  • Shown as your current "wallet"
XP / LIFETIME (PERMANENT)
  • Every Aura Point you've ever earned, added up
  • Never drops, even after spending Aura
  • Powers your Ranking Leaderboard position
  • A true record of total effort, not just current balance

How the ranking works

The Ranking Leaderboard shows the top 5 accounts by Lifetime XP — a live snapshot of the highest total effort across the platform, refreshed as students earn more Aura Points from missions and Frenzy Mode. Because it's based on Lifetime XP rather than current Aura balance, there's no tension between climbing the leaderboard and actually redeeming rewards from the Aura Store — both can happen at once.

FAQ

Common questions

What is the difference between Aura Points and XP?

Aura Points are spendable — they drop when a reward is redeemed from the Aura Store. XP is every Aura Point ever earned, accumulated permanently, and it never drops even after spending.

Does redeeming a reward hurt my leaderboard rank?

No. The leaderboard ranks by Lifetime XP, not current Aura balance, so spending Aura Points on a reward never lowers a student's position on the leaderboard.

How many students show up on the leaderboard?

The top 5 by Lifetime XP. It's a snapshot of the current highest performers, not a full ranking of every account.

Is there a leaderboard for each individual mini-game?

Not yet — today's leaderboard is a single overall ranking by Lifetime XP across all activity. A per-mini-game leaderboard is an idea under consideration, not a live feature.

Every correct answer counts toward your rank, permanently
