Aura Tycoon is an independent, non-commercial educational project developed by a parent as a supplementary revision tool for students. Core revision features — including practice questions, Aura Points, and the Weakness Log — are free to use and will remain free. As the platform develops, additional advanced features may be offered through an optional paid subscription; no feature that is currently free will be moved behind a paywall. By accessing or using Aura Tycoon, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of the platform.
2. Intellectual Property & Academic Content
Aura Tycoon is an independent educational tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE), Pearson Edexcel, or any other official examination board. The questions and study materials provided within the application are original works created for educational purposes, modeled after general syllabus requirements (fair use). Aura Tycoon claims no ownership over official IGCSE trademarks.
3. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
The platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive to provide accurate educational content, Aura Tycoon makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the materials. Furthermore:
- Academic Results: Aura Tycoon is a motivational aid. We do not guarantee any specific grades, test scores, or academic success resulting from the use of this app.
- Service Availability: We are not liable for server downtime, software bugs, or the loss of user data (including Aura Points or Weakness Log records).
4. Modifications to the Service Without Notice
Because Aura Tycoon is a continuously evolving personal project, we reserve the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the application (including academic content, game mechanics, and user interfaces) at any time, without prior notice or liability. We are not obligated to obtain user consent prior to implementing changes.
5. Aura Points and Real-World Value
The "Aura Points" earned within the application are entirely fictional and hold absolutely zero real-world monetary value. Any physical or external rewards redeemed using these points are strictly informal arrangements made between parents and their children at home.
